Scott has been working with sound for over a decade. He first studied Audio Engineering at TAFE in Newcastle back in 2006 and has been honing his craft ever since. He has worked in recording studios as an audio engineer and as a session musician. He has also studied production and critical listening through Berklee College Online.
Scott became interested in podcasts about 8 years ago when he began working with Giant Gnome productions, an audio-drama production company based in the US. Along with other productions, he has worked as an audio producer and a voice actor on a fan-made series of Dr Who. He has since worked on many podcasts as an editor and producer. Scott currently works for a podcast production company based in the US.
Scott draws inspiration from some of the most popular and critically acclaimed podcasts around such as Radiolab and The Ted Radio Hour. Mixing and cleaning up conversational podcasts is his bread and butter but he also loves to bring podcasts to life using sound effects and synthesizers.
Years of experience writing, recording and mixing music and podcasts has given Scott a deep knowledge of the tools and methods used to process audio and create professional sounding productions.
